After following the KTM Incas thread, as well as a few others that involve people finding "items of interest" and then posting them in here. Would it be a good idea to create a Sticky Thread that people can post their find in for other inmates??

For example i just found this.

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Motorbike-dr...ewItemQQptZAU_Motorcycles?hash=item3ca9715497

Now, i don't want it, but it's a great bike and someone on here just might.

What are your thoughts people (and mods)??

could be interesting. BTW i bought a DR650RS new. Nice bike but a pain in the butt to start (kick only) when hungover.

Later model rs's (like that one) had both kick and electric.

Mine was a 91 kick only.

    Shouldn't be a problem.

And also, whats with the twin pipes on that bike? Is it a different engine or just 1 pipe per port??

Same engine as the DR of the same period, I think the twin pipes was just the trend (the Honda Dominator had them as well).

Wouldn't surprise me if they were more free flowing than the single pipe, but the are heavy (although I have seen it claimed on every stat that I have seen that the "standard" 91 DR is a few Kg heavier).

Being Alloy I dont think its heavier than 5 kgs. Far from it I`d say, so a 5kg Express post bag might be big enough to put it in. They cost 19.00 from memory Australia wide. Thats only if it fits in the bag, and they are big bags.

Looks XT for sure, but not in any other colour scheme i have seen.. the Pin stripe being the odd character.. the stripes generally run straight down the tank from the top to create a colour stripe down the centre. The later models were silver (Post 80 - 81 IIRC) but still maintained a stripe.. i would suggest late XT... i would also suggest Ebay.. straight tanks are worth $$$$
