I'm in. form Both of these. It's not a long ride for me so I hope there can be some riding worked into the weekend.

Rest assured, There will be plenty of riding at both events. Smokin Hole will have Two possible Three groups on Sat. Hard core off road ride. A plated Bike is still required. A kindler gentler DS ride & an road ride for the big BOYS.

Octoberfest ride will be a road ride of local twisties with a few gravel & non maintained roads both before the tapping of the keg!

Long time since I heard from you, How'd your ride go to Alaska? Did you do a trip report?

You are correct. As for the dates it all depends on the dates the grove has open. We're at their mercy. David will let us know pretty soon

there was no Alaska Trip. It was the TAT. There is a ride report, however, I found it was much more difficult than the ride. I planned on doing regular updates from the trail, that didn't happen. It was the trip of a lifetime.

Still working an attentive July 18th date for the first annual hillybill campout. I will start a new thread when plans are confirmed with work and what not.

I can dig out my dad's banjo and learn a few tunes

I'll do stickers but I'm personally not a big fan of the Gildan printed tees so I won't do them but would buy one probably if somebody else spearheaded the effort

For those of you that may be interested in just camping the Allegheny National Forest has tons of dirt road riding and unstructured (no fee) random camping all through the forest. I think you are allowed to camp anywhere as long as it's 1500 feet from a highway.

I'll share more info if anyone is interested.

Well, photobucket has my pictures held hostage so all I can get you is coordinates. Can you find spots from coordinates?
