He looks good. But the rookies are why they're behind. Just beginning of season, still a long way to go.

His throws are bullets and right on target. As Collinsworth sd...he threw into a micro-window. Not a hint of a wobble in his throws.

Agree Atomic...not behind because of him. Yes..he threw a pick (not gonna count the deflection). I like what I'm seein in him!! ALOT!!!

It was a good game, got interesting there right at the end :lol3

I like what I saw overall - a good effort by a solid team that has a few rough spots to polish out, things that will get better as the season progresses.
Trevor has skills, but was cool under pressure which is a great trait.

D has to be better on third down. They did put some hits on Cam though. I thought Trevor looked very good for first NFL start and game. Throws a very nice ball. Good velocity, footwork. Fun game.
I liked that big FB lead block look also, then he rambles in on his 1st NFL carry.

Andy Janovich - Nebraska born and schooled! (me too)

As Kubes said after the game....far too many errors (12 D men on the field 4x), but they got it done! Miller FINALLY got to Newton. How important was Kube's call to go for it on 4th and goal from the 1/2 yard line?

I loved Siemian right from the start...hence when I started this thread. That first throw that he pulled down and then threw sidearm around the defender was great! As you said Norm, he throws a good ball. Gone are the wobbly floaters - his are pinpoint tight spirals. He's not perfect, but damn....it was his first game! I thought Kubes handled everything perfectly as far as getting him confidence....started with 5 straight passes! And he put Booker right back in after his fumble. Show the guys you trust em...helps build that TEAM chemistry that got em the SB trophy last year.

Looks like my exercise program will be back (which consists of pacing through most of the 4th quarter). Of course I'm exhausted today since I was so amped up by the end of the game I couldn't sleep. Nice win, felt pretty good. I know Newton is "just having fun" but he brings it on himself with his antics. I just think guys want to hit him.

My wife is a Nebraska girl(Sandhills Ranching Family) and I have always been a Husker fan, even though I am a western Colorado guy. There were lots of mistakes, but I really enjoyed the intensity, and perseverance that allowed them to over come that 10 point deficit, turnovers and penalties .

Trevor did great given all the pressure. Hopefully he improves on some of the mistakes.
