Thanks for posting this Pez.... like salt in the wound. Last week I got my AHRMA newsletter and in the classifieds there was Wasp - Yamaha XS-650. The seller listed no phone # only an E-mail address. My computer was down so I got a friend to mail him my phone # with the intent to send a deposit.
Nothing for a couple of days, then he got the message that it was sold. Dammhic! The price was only $1500 and it was a runner.:cry

That's at Carlsbad, California 26 years ago, back when I was passengering. We were on our just completed Harley Sportster rig, built completely from scratch. I guess I was "Hogwild" even back then. We revived that rig and put a new more capable Sportster motor in it 10 years ago, and had some more great fun at Pikes Peak and some local off-road events. It's now in the hands of a longtime fan, and being converted into a street rig.

Start in Adelaide, mate. The croweaters are kinda kinky for motocross type outfits.

    Hearing ya, however . . . . .

I have decided to use the 90/6 engine in a modified BMW frame.
Just picked up a /5 (800cc) which i built up for a friend a few years ago to tug the HRD Classic. So the Girls sidecar will be on the road by Christmas.

Been talking to Paul Rooney as well. Great source of info :freaky
