Hi, there does not seem to be a drain, is anyone familiar with this job?
You probably need to take the forks apart.
take the forks off, remove caps, turn upside down
don't forget to pump 'em for a while to get all the fluid out....
Damn, why not just put a drain on them! At the factory you know...
There is a plug, on the bottom of the leg , I go to www.yamaha-motor.com they have all the scematics , go to the parts catalog they have 98% of their bikes there
That's not a drain plug it holds the fork together. It's a cartridge fork. You need to purge the cartridge. Disassemble and clean is the best way especially with a fork that old.
Technology is a real bitch ain't it.....
