Almost forgot! The nice folks at IMWA who brought you that paragon of Russian enginering, the URAL, are offering a $125 rebate to customers who take a S/TEP class within a year of purchasing a new Ural. This applies to the Adventure Sidecar classes as well as the Evergreen Safety Council classes. Talk to your Ural dealer for details

You could bring it along for most of it but part of what we did today you may need to lean it up on two wheels for a bit.

I didn't know we had a name, sounders good to me...

I admit that I do drive the cages at least once a week or less sometimes, just to keep them from falling apart. But I get in ... >10,000 miles a year (all 12-months) on the bike.

Rain, shit the only time you won't see me in it, is the first day after a dry spell.

I love riding all day in violent storms, getting the shit beat out of me, freezing my ass off, then getting home to a warm fire and a cold beer, nothings better!

I am going to try and ride during the winter. I only have to ride from Issaquah to the Bellevue exit on the I-90 so I don't think it's going to be a problem. My Kilimanjaro should keep my dry and warm enough for that short ride every day.

I dunno if I want to ride the Rune in the nasty stuff, but I will at least be on the V-Strom. I'm sure I'll be in the truck on the truly gnarly days. My truck is an '04 and it only has 5,000 miles on it so maybe I should drive it some more!

    guys
i feel bad enough that i had to look at barbie setting there all day while i had to work building aux tanks. knowing full well the really smart folks were just a bit of a ways away really having fun.

now some year when the old hardly get replaced with a newer daily ride. perhaps the thing to do would be to remove all the bags, faring, etc. get some knobs installed and go do some real tractor work. that would be a site to see for sure. who knows it might evern bring back a trend.

yep i can see it know, all them recycled hardleys fitted with full knobs, skid plates, etc. lined up in front of the duval cafe. just waiting for the wall. yes
    sir them's the days.

we now return you to your normal programing. this has been a test and nothing but a test. no warrenty implied or offered. no postage required if mailed in the united states.

After freezing my nuggets off last year in Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr, I added two important pieces of gear to this year's foolishness:

    1. Gerbing heated jacket
    2. Aerostitch triple digits
