I like hearing about the high mileage 12 gs.. Takes a lot of worry about the final drive issue away
2005 GS. 48,000 miles Leaving for Daytona next Wednesday
09 GSA 96,100 miles
2006 1200 GS adventure
Still running perfectly.
no oil consumption.
I have some well-knowns problems without help form BMW like front crankcase blister or fuel gauge....
clutch, gearbox and main drive shaft are the original ones and I haven't got any "bizarre" noises.
I'm know thinking about selling my 2006 for a newer GSA or just keeping it for the next 75,000 miles.
2009 gs 24,121 miles going strong!
2011 GS Triple Black delivered 6/11 and currently 21,000 miles of smiles! Love the beast!

56, 627 miles after today's breakfast ride with only gas, tires & oil used up.
I took this picture today after I rolled into the garage. 40k is not a lot of miles compared to some of you guys but they are MY miles.
And yes, I am planning on changing the oil, adjusting the valves, and getting out the GS-911 to reset the service warning this weekend.
Aus..CONGRATS...nice accomplishment...I usually notice things like this 1 -10 miles after the fact...drats.
Please confirm that you'll take another picture in another 40,000 miles...say 80,085?:huh

Just hit 135 miles today! (On this one)
Keep that up all year (365 days) and we'll count you in at 49, 275 miles for your first year with this one!
Get on/stay on that pony and ride.
'09 I bought in October of 2010 with 2800 miles on it. Now has 215xx and has had one fuel strip replaced, other than that everything has been perfect. I have done oil changes every 3000 tho, maybe switch to syn soon who knows...
112,689 miles on my '07 R12GSA as of noon today, which put me just over 400k total miles on BMWs. I plan on seeing at least the 500k mile mark riding this same bike, as I can't imagine riding anything better.
Bob Henig, owner of Bob's BMW in Jessup, MD, verified my mileage documentation when I stopped by there. I had to stomp all the mud off my boots before I went inside so I didn't get his carpets dirty. Yeah, I had another great ride this morning.
