How reliable are modern Triumphs?

    my 07 bonneville was made in asia- sad- but again it rode so sweet I forgot to be mad- and after 30k I sold it but still love it so thats not bad still left me spraying in the rain on the deelectric but thats character

    Dumbest thread ever? Not on the original posters part, but many of the replies. How long have many of these motors been around? Triumph guys complain of old technology then rave about the character. I love the character and don't care about the technology. See you at the first turn.

    It's hard to come up with anything nice to say about Gill electrical components. I love my Scrambler, but I'm not going to claim Gill pick-up coils, ignition coils and that !@&E%@ igniter aren't potential trouble spots. But aside from the (already cheap to replace) pick-up coil, relatively inexpensive non-Triumph replacements exist. I'd buy the bike again in an instant. I freaking love that bike.
