Besides the most current North America map, I also have a "GLOBAL MAP," which means I always have to make sure I am using the current NA 2018.3.

How do I delete that GLOBAL MAP? When I search for it, I find lots of files, but am reluctant to just delete that GLOBAL MAP in case it shares some files with the current NA map.

    Suggestions, please?

Not sure if you're refering to the map on your GPS or computer, but I would try Garmin's Mapmanager.
(delete map is under the 'file' menu)

    K, thanks, will try.

The map is on computer and so each time I work w f-ing Basecamp have to make sure I’m on the North America 2018.3 and not Global map.

~/application support/Garmin/basecamp/.... is where I think it stores maps

I'm probably wrong though, I don't use it much. :-(
