What I am saying is, you're close but there is too much information with the process you used.
Hell, I'm a 71 year old self taught idiot.
If I can do it any one can.
While we are here...
Go to the rock photo that I posted and touch it, then touch it again and tell me what you see.
Well, I excell at idiocy, sir, so this may indeed be doable. No "copy" option appears. When touched to be isolated from main flickr gallery, there are the five icons below. The only one allowing any of these actions is the right arrow looking thingie.
Touching the photo zooms in on it.
Yes, now touch it again.
Check that, with a long touch, i guess the equal to a right click, i get a menu, but no copy on it. Tried that in flickr, no response
Sorry, I just don't know how your system works.
This is what I was hoping you would see.
Nope, android os on this tablet looks like a totally different interface than that, i will have to keep trying different stuff, or say f it.
There's always Smugmug or a Mac product.
I want to do a ride report imbedding pics , the upload function on the site is not good enough for me because the pic is too big ; huge ; I've been trying to do it by putting pics on google photos and flicker and transferring them to the site but all I can do is put the URL but not the pic . Where am I going wrong , please help !
There are several ongoing threads about how to post pix. You could start by reading them.
Why device are you using?
A laptop .
1.Left click photo you want to post.
2.Left click down arrow...left click view all sizes. Large is default size.
3.Right click photo...
4.Left click Copy image photo.
5.Come back to ADV and insert into the URL square mountain scene.
The same with Google except the size option.
Thanks Bud , go to Photos --- pics of long lonely highways to see my test case ; I must now work on my ride report ; watch for it on Day Trippin ; thanks again !
Learn to make your pictures smaller.
About 900-1100 pixels wide.
There are free downloadable Photoshop alternatives that do this.
Then you can upload a couple at a time and they wont totally plaster someone's screen in over-size fashion.
I'll check into it , thanks !
Flickr offers photo resizing. When you click on the "Share" arrow, there's a menu to choose the size, and tabs to select the format of the link.
