Would you consider participating in a group buy?

  1. Yes, if the price is right.

  2. No, these cartridges are way to expensive.

  3. No, USD forks will work so much better

well might as well pull the front wheel off .......and then there's frame gussets too......OR box it up and sent it to Germany as AW's frame is getting kind of lonely.....or you could always use the motor for an ultra light.

Plenty of options for a dead R100GS....well at least the drive shaft is good.

Say wha? What happened to the cow? The figurehead of the airhead rallye team, the flagship of the fleet. Say it's not so. Say no harm hath been visited upon her.

Not far off, My internet and phone connection is so flaky that it oscillates like a sinus curve. Maybe Orcon Genius is not so smart after all.

    €705 last time,

hmmmm, looking forward to an ajustable front end. A tweak here a tweak there...

I've had enough of work today... need to start thinking (dreaming) about riding the G/S accross the desert plains...soaking up every bump and obsticle thrown at us......roost flying off the rear wheel (i must have done the 1000cc upgrade in the dream), the sound, the view.....

Can you tell its been really wet over here? :)

I'm just about out of other things to spend money on for this bike. I am getting antsy about this upgrade. Its the "you want, but can't have" syndrome! Makes me really twitchy! :ruskie

    *update*

Seems we have some movement. Just got off the phone with Hubert. He said he had most parts ready and is hoping to get the springs from Eibach early next week. He will mail me when ready. That's a pleasant change from 2 weeks at a time. The only problem I have now is to find some money. My septic tank has packed up and our Golf TDI is waiting for a new DSG. Does anyone want to buy an R80G/S? Would make a good fly and ride.

    It's in New Zealand

If my transmission is like everything else, it will be necessary to replace every single thing in it :D

If it happens next month maybe i can hide it inside some other budget line :hide

Is your tank shot or is your drain field dead??? I just had my drain field dug in 2010 and replaced and my yard is still a mess

Everyting is less than a year old. Apparently it's not doing its job. They found stuff that shouldn't be in there. Plastic, polystyrene and oil. That didn't come from us. We collect any residual oil in a jar and we rarely fry food anyway.
