?

Would you consider participating in a group buy?

  1. Yes, if the price is right.

  2. No, these cartridges are way to expensive.

  3. No, USD forks will work so much better

Not the Race Tech inserts, but I scarfed the HPN (notice the white power box?) from Anton's Page. Hopefully they will be similar...or better

Wasn't the word that HPN now buys their inserts from this guy since the original supplier stopped production?

Sorry to keep you guys hanging like this, but I have not yet had the email he's promised me. He did let on that he was quite busy. Apparently he is also doing a bit of work for Porsche.

However, that doesn't help us much, especially not me, since I am in prime riding season. Bottomed out the forks twice last weekend and collected a lot of this...

At least I got to see how the pros get around the tight corners at warp speed. It seems to be a matter of trying to throw as much road as possible behind you, while you magically drift around the corner.

The bike got really tired a couple of times and had to lay on it's side. That's one lazy bike and hard to get off it's ass once settled in. :lol3

I was doing ok, until some guys blocked my line, so I had to lay her down :rofl Of course you only see me picking it up. :lol3

That's our local beach. The've lowered the speed limit to 50km/h, but since they haven't got around to putting cameras up, we may have exceeded that a tad. Some more than others.

The R80 does ok, as long as I have speed and the feet on the pegs. That waddling doesn't work for me.

Not so far. I'll try his number again tomorrow. They might be closed between Christmas and New Year. Hopefully, this can be sorted sooner rather than later.

On the 3rd we're off to the South Island for 10 days. This morning I am off to pick up the R80G/S PD I've foolishly committed to buying yesterday.

Thanks, I saw that G/S. G/S forks on it!! It's only foolish if you can't afford it.

    a fool in love...:rofl

ANyway I am no giant hurry... I've got the funds sort of on standby, so I can jump whenever, pretty much. A race in a month, and I am not counting on them being here by then. So if just let that go, than I can wait around a bit.

I just bought BMW Sport front springs from the last of the Eurotech stocks, and will throw them in to see if it can sort some of the low speed harshness for hte time being. I'm almost too lazy to do it because I'll have to donk about with preload...

I reckon I got it for a good price, so it shouldn't be too hard to flick it on, if I have to. It will be interesting how it compares to the R80GS Basic. I'll get to ride it home in the rain today.

R80 G/S vs basic would be a good comparison. Worth a writeup.
