There's nobody here
I believe the festivities start tomorrow at 11:00 a.m., and I don't think camping is allowed on the mountain.
Want to put a bet on the GS challenge tomorrow with that 10 year old SE you have?
I can't make it this year. I don't think Hunter was looking to make $$ on camping. There was never anyone around to pay .
There's always stealth camping. It is happening but nobody knows. But that's what I heard. But what do I know really
Doc. I won't be there tomorrow. I will be mowing some fields for my father-in-law
It wasn't to far off my route for photo ops!
I might swing back thru on Sunday.
Why don't you bring that 950 monster down to the Pine Barrens on Sunday and see if you can do some sand?
Pakim Pond at 9:30 a.m.!
A great time as always! Thank you Max, Ben, all the volunteers and Hunter Mountain.
Might I add the same - huge thanks to the MAX BMW team to making this happen for the D/S and ADV community for the many years they have - you guys rock and we so very much appreciate all you do!
We also had a fantastic time. Already looking forward to next year.
Adding my thanks. Really appreciate that the Max crew hosts this event!
No photos of the GS challenge? The climb the mountain? The "Barber's" ride?
It is not a true ADVenture without photos!
You have a point.
I rode and walked to a couple of the observation points for the GS challenge, but I was too late for much activity.
I walked up a ways from the start of the hillclimb. Now lets see if i can figure out how to post.
Cool R100GS (R1000GS?)
And the hillclimb start.
Unfortunately, the upload pic function does not like the motion shots. Maybe I'll try to figure it out later.
And the camera is my old Olympus Stylus Tough (water resistant). Helps explain the quality...
Motion shots are .avi
Hats off to the big bike mudders
How deep was the mud hole? Any problems with water in the air intake? I'm thinking R1150GS, just above the cylinder.
Thanks! Those are great shots! Especially this one:
Thanks Max BMW! Had a good time (aside from the speeding ticket).
Here are some photos (link) I took from the sidelines.
I gotta try to make it to this thing next year.
Providing of course, I, make it to next year.
