You just use a good silicone sealant. Clean the case with alcohol -- same with the inner surface of the case saver cover. Spread a uniform layer of silicone on the inside of the cover and press it in place. Clean off the excess that will squeeze out and let the silicone cure. I've done this to a DR650 and a DRZ400 a number of years ago. They're still tightly in place.

bummer. i know some have said the 570s could have good resale value eventually if they are the last of the true big bore dirt bikes. at least most of the parts are KTM exchangeable and i heard EU regulations ensure manufacturers keep parts available for at least a decade after a model is discontinued so parts shouldnt be an issue.

I think you will do OK selling a 570 as they are the big boy and can be plated for the street. I believe Ted is selling a FX450 that would be a more limited market.

FX can be plated for the street too. I even have the FE wiring harness for it....

I just put together a complete TM design slide n glide kit for $145+- on eBay. I know the kit is $165+- from most venders. I bought my stuff from 3 different venders and still got it cheaper than the kit! :clap!

I catch some shit for it being "only a 390" but this bike rocks hard, especially in the narrow stuff

Helmet cam video of my last event. Not the best quality as I'm still learning the YouTube thing. Was much easier before when Contour's site was up and running. http://youtu.be/lHlUSHcaqZI

That was at Ormond Farms, near Millville NJ. Both the Northeast Offroad Championship Series and the East Coast Enduro Series use that property. It used to be less open but after years of use and using a small tractor to groom the trails, it has gotten blown out some.

It currently has a subframe tank, but will be taking it off, which will allow the plumbing to be simpler and make it easier for maintenance issues. This bike will be in the Baja Rally later in the fall.

I have another full Rally Berg that will be in the Mexican 1000, and it has both front and rear Safari tanks.

In my last issue of Dirt Rider (June) there was an article stating that Husaberg as a brand would cease operations at the end of this year. It indicated that parts would still be available. From KTM dealers?

Anyway, if this was already discussed here I missed it ...
I am hoping that parts will still be there if needed.
