let's do it! You name the place and boonie can find us.
So, a cozy little B&B?
You 2 get a room!
Never mind. It sounds like that is exactly what you are doing. :eek1
...not that there is anything wrong with that.
Anyone familiar with Pickens, SC?
Close to 11 like George and Boonie said, close to the Jocassee area and Table Rock, down out of the hills so the mornings would be tolerable warm, maybe...
That looks nice, I take it that I need to invite Janet on this outing.
Not yet, is Carol planning to be there?
Have not even mentioned it to her.
There is a road in there somewhere that is twistier than Wolf Pen Gap and about three times as long, but I can't remember which it is
Though I'm sure you boys will find it
Man oh man I love this area of the country!! Thank you for this thread!!
You're welcome. More to come (eventually).
Try War Women road or Blood Mountain for some nice twisties and little traffic. Any road that has Gap after it are usually fun.
War Woman and little traffic? you gotta be lucky...
I "think" it's rt. 276 that runs up through Ceasar's Head state park, might be wrong... haven't been that way in about ten years but that looks right
Yeah, that looks pretty twisty. I wonder if they've spread any sand this year.
276 is a fun run. All five minutes of it. Why don't you boys quit horse-assin' around and just come an extra fourty five minutes up into the real riding country? Supposed to be a really nice weekend, it's raining right now so the sand should be washed away. Ya'll can fight over the bed and I'll sleep on the floor.
We'll call for a special Wedge Day in your honor while you're here.
Are you tryin to mess with mine and Ricks romantic SC getaway!
Not at all. Ya'll can use the whole house for a romantic getaway. I'll go sleep on Silke and Hunter's floor.
