you tell 'em, baby
A whole lot of fickle fingers of faith awards...
I did get a pic of Cogswell!
The last rest stop.
The pond is right across the road from here...
The B&B in Marlinton I mentioned earlier..
I had all day to get home from Marlinton. I spotted this road on 39 right on the Virginia/West Virginia border. Don't follow it south if you expect to get anywhere, regardless of what the Garmin might tell you (you'd think I'd learn).
Early morning, sun peeking through the fog here and there...
Google maps calls it Public Road 55. Someday I'm going to go up there and try the north part. Looks like it follows the border all the way up to 84.
All this is making me long to be back in the cornfields of the midwest...not.
Camera battery went dead, so that's about the extent of the pictures. I curse the proprietary battery.
I've posted quite a few pics of the rest of the ride home previously, anyway.
Went to the Old's Cool Rally last weekend. It started raining before I got out of the city limits and didn't stop until I got to Old Fort on I-40. With it being 350 miles to Tellico Plains, I pretty much have to use the interstate to get to that part of the country, unless I want to spend 2 days doing it.
This is one of my favorite events to attend. It's a small crowd, so it's easier to visit with everyone than it is at the bigger gatherings.
It would be nice if Nottarally and Old's Cool fell on back to back weekends.
Good stuff! Sorry I had to miss it.
I missed the end of the green leaf trip. Nice. Just last night I was looking at 39 and 55 and 600.
Soon my friend.
It would be even nicer if we had a place like CMR of our very own.
