Haha no thanks
Thanks for thaking the time to post this RR and the related pictures. I had read your RR about you visiting your aunts(?) grave site, and really enjoyed it. I stumbled across this RR the other night and have enjoyed catching up with it over the last two days. Something about your solo trips really hit a cord in me, Thanks again.
Thanks, that other report was about my Grandmother.
Scrambling to get a bike built for my annual Death Valley trip!!!
Thanks a ton for your efforts on these posts...amazing scenery, video, and music (from friends too, does it get any better). Death Valley...who knew? You apparently! Class act that I can only hope to emulate as my rides develop. The laid back, casual, in the moment-ness (yes, I know it isn't a real word) of your reports is top notch. Keep riding the dream.
Thanks, I've been back to DV 3 or 4 times more since this report...still finding new things.
This album is amazing. Moments is a growth song. If not for RRs from Larryboy I wouldn't even know about it. Thanks LB!
Huh, you took the southern route out because of snow back in 2010.
And just last week, you took the same route going in!
Kinda weird. :huh
Going through this RR again, I'm impressed at all the stuff you did - and the amount of music & video editing.
Like reading a good book over again - got more outta it the second time around.
This is a crazy bit of synchronicity or serendipity or whatever you want to call it. I was re-reading this RR (caught the DV bug myself recently) and had just passed the part about the "Aurora" jet you saw. Within the next few minutes, I'd switched over to the Washington Post to read some news, and this is the first story that caught my eye:
He puts together a mean story.
