Hard to tell in the pic,the fire road was too steep of a pitch to put it all the way down.

I bought this from an inmate on here, only new to me. The side panels are removed and there is orange contact paper for graphics. I have the tank side panels in the box.

BrownDog, did you cut that rear fender below the lic. plate lite, remove the plate lite and mount your plate where the lite used to be?

dogslobber, is that a SM fender?

    Thanks in advance doods!

    Hey dogsslober!

Great pics, love the SE with the Safaritank, thinking of putting one on my bike to, before next trip.

What skidplate do you have? Hyde? Any detailed pic of how far back under the bike it goes? Is it aluminium, how thick?

I like it, it seems to slide over stuff better than alu plates. All tho I think the alu ones are stouter.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

They (Hyde) call it "Teflon/co-polymer". Their spin on it is that their stuff was designed for rallies on the "Roof of Africa"...where lesser equipment meets a quick death.

The only reason I know all that is because I am hoping to order one (real soon) for the 300. For my SE, I think I'm still going to go with the BDCW.

    Nice plate, though...

Even after almost 2 years of ownership, the old SE still amazes me and shows its versatility....
