Fitted a modified sidestand footprint, it was a huge (cheap) steel thing that weighed too much, so just cut it down about 40%

Started the install of heated grips and HDB handguards.
Went for a (risk?) and ordered the brand new "DataTool Therma Grips" as heated grips.... will see... I fitted them to the ACC2, however they didn't seem to work! I suspect it as they are meant to be directly wired to the battery, and one of the USPs is that they have circuits that do not allow them to drain the battery when the bike is not running. So maybe on ACC2 it is either not a direct battery connection, or I just need to run the bike a bit, not just on ignition.

Got the heated grips working, will be interesting to see how they work out...

Finished install of HDB guards, love the way the black bars and silver centre worked out.

So who were the other two SE's I saw at MotoGP Austin? One with CA plate and the other TX plate. I know I've seen the CA bike on here. I ended up with 1300mi round trip from OK on mine.

Just a wee bit more work today...

After managing 58 miles from a full tank to the reserve light, I fitted the Safari tank that I got with the bike :)
It is a big beast! 30l of fuel seems mind boggling! :)
I love the look it goes the bike though, more aggressive?

This is what we did yesterday after "taking a shortcut" to Chicabal :D ... which we can confirm IS the longest distance between two points :rofl

... it was the bashplates fault cos it got in the way of digging through to China :eek1
