Those are 3600 lumen spots. I actually suspect its a Chinese product, but its incredibly well made (much better than BMW OEM) I have the Trailtech wired to my park beam and the spots wired to the low beam. This way I have a combined light.

I love the Trailtech, but I needed a tad more light when riding in the dunes or in the bush.

No. The big headlight is a trailtech light. The spots are just no name units. Check out extremelights.co.za they have them under the motorcycle section.

FYI, I'll be having these in the FM soon. I'm looking to trade for a center stand for the SE.

It's probably me you're thinking of? I posted in both. I will keep my eye on egay.

Do you know if an S stand will work? Will a reg adv stand work with some modding?

Weather was magnificent yesterday (65-75), so a ride was in order. Against my better judgement, I put another set K60 Scouts on the bike. I had poor luck with the first set I put on for a trip through Western Canada and Alaska a few years back: shit in the dirt and didn't last. Well, they're still shit, but I cannot seem to wear them out. I've got over 4K on them and I think they may last forever. This little jaunt was just another excuse to scrub some more rubber off. I'll be back to the 908/606 combo eventually,:clap but for now I'm stuck - too cheap to throw away rubber, just ride more of what works.

If you are doing dirt roads the k60 is fine. I prefer the 50/50 tires for the rear. They seem to do alright everywhere. In sand, you just have to keep you speed wayyyy up.

I tried a Karroo 3 and it lasted like 1200miles. I've done nearly 1200 on the 130 (yes 130) Mitas E07 and it still looks good. Problem with a 100hp bike on a tire is that they like to crack the tire if not inflated properly. Granted, I ride the crap out of it for fun.
