It was overkill but didn’t have to worry about damage. Those pelicans can take a beating.

I actually got everything installed this afternoon and went for a short ride. It’s a little taller than before but feels 100x better. I’m sooooo happy.

Touratech finally figure out their fitment issue for the install on the SE? Everyone I know had to do some creative install tricks.

I thought it went pretty smooth and didn’t have any fitting issues. I haven’t yet tried the mounting bracket with the passenger sets tho. Might need to rework the luggage loops but other than that. A43481EB-509C-481C-A40F-81305FDF8E0E.jpeg

Are you talking about the lower shock mount I to the swing arm? You can use a c clamp and move the bushing that’s in the swing arm to widen the space. The shock can then drop right in and the bolt will push the bushing right back against the shock.

I had to bent that adjuster mount inward to clear my leg.

Doesn't look like that Torx bolt is going to come out nice next time. Why do they make some of these bolts out of soft cheese?

Because they expect people to actually use a torque wrench to tighten everything to the specification that they conveniently supply for every engine/chassis fastener on the last page of the manual :lol3

I think that the 950 SE may just be the greatest motorcycle ever built. Just looking at some numbers here; show me another thread with nearly 2.1 MILLION views. This is 2.1 million views for about 3,000 or so bikes produced from 2006?, 2007-2008, 2009? That is 700 views per unit ever produced! When has there EVER been 700+ views for each and every motorcycle of a particular individual model? What an awesome motorcycle. Of all the motos that I own, it is my absolute favorite, so glad that I ponied up the c-notes and snagged a good one. It's Magical (it truly makes me feel like I am flying like Iron Man) and it's Not For Sale.

Bump for Rade Garage, love the footpegs and excellent customer service. Rade recently went above and beyond replacing a footpeg
    for me recently.
