Just in case. You should probably pack skinny ski's or at the very least
    snowshoe's. Just in case.

My Dogs are loving it. Even the corgis. Let them in, 5 minutes later, they are whining by the door.

Now the barn cats, are hiding in the haystack

-26 when I got up this morning in Grand Lake. Snow is well up on my chest in the yard. The plows are working overtime.

I'm headed to ND and MN next week. I can't wait. Coldest I saw there was -41 with a 40 mph wind. How people want to live there is beyond my comprehension.

My moms family farms east of Watford City, we never went up there in the winter. My mom always called it the Land of Snow and Ice. Cousin that owns the Double Barrel Casino in Fairview Montana has nothing but good to say about the Western NDak winters.

I grew up in Minnesota, and have some insight into that. The Scandeweigians up der are from hearty stock and they view people who live in warmer places as somehow of a lower moral character. But, being polite, they would never come right out and say that. However, both weeks up summer are really nice there.

After moving to Colorado nearly 50 years ago, I still think Colorado doesn't have real winters, just late fall and early spring (road construction being the other season). :deal 3

I've had a couple of nice days hanging in Telluride with MountainsandRivers. Seems here stays pretty temperate, but we didn't get the dumpage the front range did. Heck 15 miles away in Rico got 1-2' of snow, we got 5-6". Still good riding, though (well, snowboarding). Heading back to Farmington today, hope it's sunny!
