When I met her she was driving a Nissan 4x2 truck with manual tranny and non-assisted steering.
...and I have some vague memories of it.
Hey! My wife had one of those too.
When we married, we *both* had mid-90s Nissan pickups.
I miss that thing. We sold it to my dad, who gave it to a guy to use as his farm truck--it was rusting away.
How is it for interior room? we are dealing with two car seats and a dog.
How big is your dog?
We have two adults, one pre-schooler in a car seat, and two dogs. The car seat goes in the rear-middle, the small dog on either side, the big dog in the back, and our bags wherever we can fit them. It's no minivan but it's roomy enough and a lot more fun to drive everyday.
I work with a guy who has a sweet one of those. Next time he drives it in, I'll snap some pics. He rides a Harley and, I'm embarassed to say, actually rides more than I do, rain or shine. (Then again, if I had a '62 Impala SS wagon as my "daily driver," I'd ride more often, too. )
Finally. Sorry for the crappy indoor iPhone pics.
Dog is medium size.
Problem is that we have one 9mnth and one yet to be born, coming in july With all the stuff infants require, I think I am leaning towards the larger Taurus X.
Dude, don't fight it, you're done with "cool." All that's left is to submit:
sad but true......
holy crap that is cool
this looks totally hawt to me.
Poofs. Get one of these.
I think the AMC's are way cool, but the peugot 505 came in a diesel too
I saw one of these outside the Silver and Gold Pawn Shop in Vegas over the weekend. Maybe not a real wagon, but by Porsche standards, pretty damn close. 505hp with a twin turbo; AWD. Pretty fucking badass.
All yours (!) for under $140k.
You don't want a peugeot diesel with the 4wd. Trust me on this- I love pugs, and I had a 505 turbo diesel station wagon. Pretty underpowered by today's standards. I actually thought their 4 cyl gas engine was a nice unit, I had one of those too. And they make a turbo. . . . great car, hard to find.
I've seen one or two of the Dangel 505s for sale in the states. Usually in poor condition. God those were great station wagons.
That is a SUV - not cool enough to be a wagon. SUV's are for poseurs....either you got big enuf ballz to pimp a wagon or not. I have more respect for guys who understand the functionality of a mini-van versus the overpriced SUV product offering.
I disagree. That is a CUV which in my opinion is another name for a wagon. Hell it is a big car, on a car platform! It is not a truck. The 2011 Ford Explorer is going to be released next week I think and I am willing to argue that it should be considered a wagon instead of a SUV as it too will be built on a car platform.
