I had a week of vacation but wasn't sure who I was going with or where but I new I needed to get out and go for a ride. I was either thinking about taking my XR650 on dirt roads through Oregon or take my CB900 over to the coast. My dad, Bud, just got back from a month long ride through Alaska and I knew he probably wouldn't be up for another ride. He had just got back on Saturday and I planned on leaving Monday morning. It didn't hurt to ask, so I ran over to his house and ran the idea by him. To my surprise he was all over the idea. He grabbed a couple maps and our trip was planned. We would ride to Glacier Park, head up to Canada and be home by Wednesday night for Taco Tuesday. 5:30 a.m. My bike was warming up and I was ready to go. I had to be at dad's house by 6:00. Before I could leave on my trip, I had to make sure I got my new ADV sticker on. Dad had his bike out, two cups of coffer drank and already figuring out where we would eat breakfast. :huh I'm not much of a planner so it was nice to have someone along who worked on the logistics.
