Swapped out my Beta 430RR for this YZ250X. The Beta was a great technical trail bike, but made things too easy, if that makes any sense. I miss the "Oh $hit!" moments. LOL. Used to have an '03 YZ250 with WR 3-5th gears and it was my favorite off road bike. Hoping this "X" takes the throne.

After 8 months of acting my age and putting on 11 k on a fat slow KLR I got a 2007 Suzuki Banditto 1250. A 69 year old's birthday present to myself.

I was just mentioning to the missus (though I don't think she cared) that I am only three weeks away from making through a year without buying a bike.
Considering the snow (or lack thereof), maybe I should reevaluate. Maybe we should all just buy a bike this week. So we get some frigin snow.

I was talking with Mike out at Penrose and we were both a little perplexed. You said you needed to slow down, so you got a KLR...and follow it up after a few months with a bandit?
