Buy a house in the country with some timbered land. Buy a WRX STi , a small motorhome -van based. Travel some then think of a business to start.
I would be generous and be willing to help people in true need which would be enjoyable.

I'd probably buy a place in Northern New Mexico, somewhere in the Taos/Santa Fe region. Grass and water for horses. Nice building for the motorcycles.

A condo on South Congress in Austin, for the music.

Donate some money to a couple of my favorite charities.

Otherwise, I'd lead a pretty low-key life, riding motorcycles and horses whenever/wherever I wanted...

I would be able to do what I wanted, when I wanted, how I wanted because I felt like doing that at that time.

Absolute financial freedom would rule !

That's what my family member quickly realized, these days if you want to conservatively invest and not risk the nest egg, you need to downgrade your expectations of living large.

She suggested not touching the principal for at least a year, and just living off the interest before coming up with any grand plans about giving money away to friends and family, building a big house, or investing in any "high return" investments.

First and foremost I'd pay off everything I owe, then setup a trust for friends and family to give them a little at a time. Then I'd spend a little time getting in better shape. Hire a Medic, chiropracter, international lawyer, a couple of badsses and a tour guide who knows everywhere. They'd all have to ride of course... Then I would start touring the world on 2 wheels!

All this would happen while my new house was being built in a very remote location, and while a few cars/bikes were being built for me.

    After that, who knows.....

    Work 150 hour weeks.......

    Take care of family.
Buy Dad a new truck every year.
    Move to Alaska.
    Spend a year doing nothing.
    Buy a KTM300 and explore.
Start a philanthropic venture, mostly concerned with clean water.
    Get married.
Realize I was working too hard.
    Hire a KICKASS assistant.
Reinvest smarter, just to fund the clean water stuff.
    Buy a Husky Terra......

Then....Juneau, for Folk Fest and wait for the snow to melt here in Fairbanks.

Settle my debts, give some to friends/family in need, then ride RTW for the remainder of my life, anonymously making chritable donations to people/communities/organizations in need.

9 figures is a fuck ton of money. So Quitting my Job that has me trapped in a cubicle for 9+hrs/day would be the first thing I'd do. I'd have a trust set up for my mom and buy her a place on the beach in FL. I'd marry a young hippie chick that wasn't concerned with money; that way I wouldn't have to worry about some gold digger taking half of my winnings :lol3

I'm not too big on helping poor starving kids in Africa, setting up clinics or anything like that (sorry just not the bleeding heart type), but after I got done traveling and playing for a few years I'd probably go back to work, but doing something with nature/wildlife or animal rescue.

Montana might have a little too long of winters for me, but I'd love something like the place below; plus the fact that it's in the middle of one of the best riding, skiing, snowmobiling, & general outdoorsy places in the World! I already have most of the toys I want, I'd just use 'em A LOT more or sell 'em and buy new ones, a brand new pair of sleds and a KTM 300 XC would be on the list of new toys (since I'm without either at the moment). Being as far away from the rat race as possible, living in a beautiful place, and doing what I wanted when I wanted would be the best thing to come from hitting a mega jackpot like that.

I'd hire someone to surf the Internet for me, and give me a rundown of the best parts of it every morning before I go to work. Any takers? :clap

Actually, I'd go on a long trip with my father. I went with him a few years ago for a week along the Civil War battlefields in VA, MD, and PA, and I'd love to do the same in Europe, just to spend some quality time.

And then I'd buy a KLR, just for the irony.
