thanks. me too.
I know next to nothing about Euro off-road stuff, but THAT is a thing of beauty by anyone's standards.
Thank you very much...!
Now - I have to go find a Husky! I was perfectly happy with my stable until this:
Off Road art...
hah. that was actually mine. bought here on advrider. bike was in montana. got it hauled to colorado for free and then got it hauled to NY.
where I sold it.
and trust me I didn't make money on it....vintage MX isn't exactly a get rich quick market. not that what I paid for the husky was high it was very fair but by the time I paid to haul it to ny which was also pretty reasonable, I sold it for a small loss after I realized I'm not a bike restorer and I'm not spending $2K plus purchase price to restore a bike I couldn't sell for $2K.
the preston petty number plate tool kit must have been worth a fortune alone!
Thats the truth! I was in the same boat last year.
Great pics Flug.
I miss my CZ! (74 250 Enduro) Another one I let go for really cheap$$ and had sellers remorse about 20 minutes later!
Would you mind sharing where you took this pic?
Not that the 450 was really anything spectacular, about junk next to the cr480, but have a real soft spot for the first big bore I rode. The Serdi in the backgound , that is truely awesome machine. Nice pics
I didn't take it. As I recall it was on ebay and I think the little symbol in the lower right will confirm that.
Actually I think (but I'm not positive) that the symbol is a watermark from one of the image hosts. Flickr or some such.
Cool. I think it is a friend of mines bike. Thanks.
