Do you tuck your pant legs into your touring/offroad boots?

I started doing it because the straps on the new boots got snagged when I got on and off the bike making it even more awkward.

Wife thinks it looks a little too "Stormtrooper".

    Opinions?

Depends on what pant/boot combo I'm wearing at the time. My road leathers are designed to tuck into the boot, and my road boots have enough room for it, so when I'm wearing those, that's what I do. Otherwise, I don't.

On a more practical note, tucking your pants into your boots lets any rain or water run right down your pant leg, to collect in your boot.

Out on my First Gear riding pants but in on the Kevlar jeans because the legs are too tight to fit over the Sidi Rain tops.

What's up with these existential questions lately?! :huh

It's not like you're asking something like "do I have to turn clockwise or counter-clockwise to undo my front wheel", which is a legit question.

Your question doesn't ask for a real answer since it's all a matter of preference.

To be fair, you asked for an "opinion" but still.

OK...I guess I only had a bad day, I dunno. Sorry for the little rant.

Are you worried about making a fashion statement when riding? :ear If not, do what offers the most practical benefit. :deal

The OP is looking at this entirely wrong.

    WTF is 'too' Stormtrooper?
Full on Stormtrooper is still not 'too' Stormtrooper.

In and Out has great burgers and fries, I like them.

    Oh! Not about burgers!

My one piece suit won't fit in, it is a problem because there is a slit open between the two velcro snaps, and it sometimes gets caught in my footpeg and I had a few incidents that I almost dropped the bike.

I had similar problems with my bicycle, pants get caught in the pedal sprocket, I have a short snap strap that I use on my pantleg now it is either snapped on my leg and when off on my helmet so I don't forgget.
