You're in the wrong bidness Rick. The 3-5" forecast at my house was in reality, a wet driveway.
We got maybe 1" on the dirt road to tha house, otherwise a few inches on the grass.
Sunny and warm by Thursday!
The view from my office. There is positivity. Coffee is brewing and I'm slowly drying out.
Who said fuk it and rode the bike to work today?
I rode my bicycle. does that count?
While pulling the Tyler Trailer!
Thought about riding the sled though.
Weather looks great the rest of the week :)
I just might need to head back out to the San Juans this weekend!
Looks like you are in Denver West. I used to work there.
Now why would you do that?
The San Juan's are overrated!
Dude what road is that??
I'm heading out there tomorrow!
Not a road but I'll send ya a conversation about it!
May I join?
Mum's the word
Definitely! I'll be riding from CO Springs and my plan is to take either Engineer (preferably, but not sure how it will be up top, snow-wise) or Cinnamon down to Silverton, disperse camp somewhere then spend Monday/Tuesday riding around. Will be on a loaded 1200GSW.
I meant, may I join the conversation......
Latest updates: Weston Pass clear as of three days ago, no snow whatsoever on the road. Could not make it to Hagerman Pass as of three days ago - the paved road that goes by Turquoise lake was very icy and snowy.
San Juans: As of yesterday, Corkscrew is clear. I was told that Hurricane is clear, and that California is passable though a bit sketchy near the top (I didn't risk it alone on my loaded 1200GS). I was also told that Engineer is also passable though sketchy (sketchier than California) in spots. I didn't risk Engineer either. Cinnamon is clear but LOOSE and tougher than usual because they are grading it. It might be better by now, but when I went over it yesterday afternoon there were spots that were ridiculously loose (guessing they hadn't finished working on those spots yet?) and even those that were finished were more rock garden-y than usual. But still very doable even on my loaded pig. US Basin also clear.
Gargantuan, great info.
Such a great day, I think I should get an optometrist appointment. I can't see myself at work this afternoon.
