I've had my firstgear liner and gloves for 3 years now. Best investment this side of an orange bike. You'll wear it all the time even in the spring/summer since it cuts down on the layers you need. Portable heattroller in your pocket and all is good!

    That would be awesome!

Last weekend at the loose nut, bunch of guys were gathered around mine trying to figure out what kind of bike it was.
I pointed to the bmw roundel on the fairing... and smiled...
then told them it was an a-17 prototype... :-)

Anyone around here have an XR400 frame laying around that has a street legal title, by chance?

    may not have been long
    but it was good

even with icy fingers - a riding buddy gave me warmer gloves here once to warm them up - wishing he would've been here to warm them up again
    IMG_8730.JPG
& even with hitting the 1.6 miles of asphalt in yellowwood that always hurts a little til i get off

it's the finding myself in moments & places like this - that begin to right things that have been a bit off - that gives me space to breathe - & that just lets me be that makes it all good

Carhart bibs with a shirt under and a flannel over covered by my leather riding jacket, Chippewa loggers for the feet, leather para-jumper gloves with the wool liners from the local army navy, a good scarf (that sounds a little gay), and a full face helmet. I put 18000 miles on the bike that year. Was awesome! Only days I didn't ride is when there was ice or snow to bad to ride on... I say year but it was more like-spring-summer-fall-winter-spring-summer. That fall my boy was born. That bike has been in the garage ever since :( He is close to being able to ride it now. He turns 13 tomorrow. May make a good first street bike for him................?

That's some serious old school Austin ... most excellent!

    What vintage is that bike?

    Happy Thanksgiving to all! :dukegirl

I won’t be riding today so if you’ve got some good ride videos in reserve please post them for us landlocked unfortunates. Until then I guess I’ll just go to my ace-in-the-hole BigDogAdventures.com for my daily “fix”.
