Rahal wins again!! Good for him and all that but let's see if his legendary inconsistency rears it's head again after this weekend. I'm in the unfortunate situation to have spent more than a little time with Graham as he worked his way towards Indy Car and IMO unfortunately he doesn't fall far from the tree his father came from. He seems to interview fairly well but otherwise he's an imperious prick like his father.

On the other hand Sato has finally gotten in a good ride and he's showing what many suspected, the guys is quick.

Impressive sweep by Rahal. I was also pleased that Sato ran strong. I'd hate for him to be a one-and-done.

Good that Chevy and Penske finally had their stranglehold broken somewhere other than Indy. It was getting tiresome.

I must admit I'm not a fan of the dual races in Detroit. I don't find it to be an exciting track and I was fast forwarding through some of the races.

Great imitation of NASCAR at TMS.

I was really rooting for Vautier. Shame he got knocked out My recording ran out shortly after the red flag so I missed the end, but I see it generated a lot of complaints about competition yellows.

Some folks don't seem to like the racing at Texas. I love it. It leaves me breathless.

The people that don't like it are the ones driving the racecars. Pack racing is exciting to watch, not meant for open wheel cars.

Perhaps so, although the ex-drivers who commentate seem to enjoy it too. Haven't heard them disparage Texas, and they do speak up if they have safety concerns, like at Las Vegas. :dunno

I take it all back. I hadn't seen this story.

IndyCar drivers want changes to avoid Texas pack-racing repeat

Leading IndyCar drivers have called for changes to avoid a repeat of last weekend's crash-littered Texas race in 2018...
"When you have a pack race, the longer you go green, the better it is," he said.
"You keep bringing yellows back and you put the whole pack back together, and that was the problem."

Yeah, I heard the comments TK and Power made after the race. They seemed like they were trying to diplomatically state that it sucked despite finishing up front.

Looks like another Penske beat down of the rest of the field at Road America this weekend.

Nope, the Ice Man came through for CGR. I thoroughly enjoyed today's race!

Yeah, great race! Close all the way through the field. Fun track. The concrete wall Kanaan ran into is scary. Normally I'd say that F1 wouldn't allow something like that. Problem is, they just did this weekend in Baku.

Great that Dixon won, great that Honda won, great that Penske didn't win. :lol3

Even though I don't much like Penske, it was good to see Helio win again today. Congrats old man!!

With the rumors that he'll lose his seat and be demoted to sports cars, today was an important win for Helio. I hope that he wins a few more this season, and returns to IndyCar next year.

Sadly, IMHO, the driver who is the most under achieving is Marco, He's the least successful driver on the AMS team. I like the legacy of having an Andretti in IndyCar, but he's just not having the success that you'd expect from a driver with that team. Maybe Herta's kid could replace him?

One can only hope, re young Herta.

The only reason that Marco is still in an Indy Car is because his name alone is worth sponsor money. Sad, really. And he's not completely talentless, but doesn't appear to have the drive necessary to compete at that level. He's certainly missing something.

Interesting to hear them talk about Helio's and Kanaan's perilous grip on driving in IndyCar. I'm not Helio's biggest fan, so I was just annoyed by Penske's dominance. Again. :lol3

Yawn!! Another victory by the Penske crew. Was disappointed to see that Helio, Simon, and Graham could not recover from the early caution and contend for the win.

Yeah, not that exciting. I don't like Power, but I have to recognize that he sure does have a lot of bad luck.
