How about renting me the left one (preferably for a purely nominal fee) until such time as I find a suitable one on fleabay? I really need one 'the noo' as we say in Scotlandshire.

How can I resist 'the noo'? Tell you what I'll do....I'll have a look at it tomorrow, and see what kind of condition it's in (I haven't looked inside it)
and let you know; meanwhile, pm me your address and email details?

Aye, I've seen pics of this floating about - Overall a quite nice form. I like the headlight shroud, the seat works tho/ough it's a bit long for me because, as you'll know, I don't ever get to carry passengers. Side panels are nice. I note it has the ATE front brakes - not my favourite. Pipes look a good length and should allow the engine to breathe. BArs are good, and similar to mine. I'd be interested to know what the tank is from?

**EDIT**
Looks like DBD _may_ have a spare..

Brilliant - thanks. I'm more than happy to do cleaning/refurb on it before rental and promise to return in fine condition once I find one of my own. I can Paypal money or send Scots poonds for you to add to your collection if you like?
I've just tried to PM you but the system says you've chosen not to receive PMs so send me one instead?

Well....with the thaw and the arrival of spring here at The Martha
Farquar Institute for Advanced Airhead Bio-Engineering, the new
hatchlings are already up on their little wheels, and running around.
They're fast little buggers, as you can see.

“I guess there’s a plan for all of us. I had to die, twice, just to figure that out.”

You see some long age past, I had been put on the market to save another. Sold off devoid of consent, traded without my even knowing. This ragged assemblage, that is my miserable spirit, given in exchange for the well-being of that unknown other, who had trafficked me so as to forever shield themselves from harm, auctioned off to guarantee their absolute protection. All I was had been prostituted to bring eternal favour to that nameless other. Each time I suffered, they flourished. Whenever I fell, they were risen up further. As I increasingly declined, they advanced ever more, their success fed by my damnation. And through their machinations it was made certain there was no escape for me.

The first time I brought myself to death I seamlessly glided into an equivalent mortality, there to be saturated in identical immorality within which I continued to be fed on, by this unseen being, providing continual succour for their success. And again, in this repeat reality, each time I was struck with harm, they were yet again uplifted. Where I tripped, they skipped. Whenever I collapsed, they correspondingly flew. Once more my downfall was their sustenance. For this was how they had willed it, this was how they had made it be.

Somewhere, in their most surreptitious hiding place, they kept back an image they had made of me and every time my wretched and desolate essence was once more damaged, then my trapped likeness would further decline – increasingly disfigured, dented, spoiled, ruined, soiled, blemished, polluted, stained, tarnished, befouled, tainted, marked, infected, flawed, injured, contaminated – on every occasion I was myself wronged, they were made more right.

The second time I caused myself to have died, I was once more summoned back to hopelessly suffer a synthesis or simulacrum of that same bedraggled, entrapped and bastardised corporeality, left to inhabit my failure all over again. Never to be allowed free flight or self sovereignty for as long as my inner self and exterior fortune is soul-shackled, for the exclusive advantage of this vicious other, in some semblance of sick symbiosis, to benefit this soul sucker for whom I am the decaying meal on which they vicariously feast, on which their continual triumph depends. This leach on whom my invariable failure endows endless, undeserved accomplishment.

And through all this desolate disconsolate time, that which the omniverse is directed to throw at me, seemingly rebounds onto those around me: a bag of bust innards, an untimely death, an inundation of mutated diseased cells and so much more...

Pain intended for me, ricochets onto those unfortunate surrounding innocents, to ensure my pitiful and puerile existence is maintained, so that I might remain ceaselessly available to prolong the provision of unwavering good fortune to that anonymous other, for whom I unwillingly grant nourishment.

So it seems that my curse is that I can die as many times as I like, you see I am staked here for them to feed on. Each time I fall, they fly. And so it will always remain.
