It looks like my job will take me away again. I am trying to shed some weight for my move this time - anyone interested in a Ural in the Atlanta area? I wanted to gauge interest with Hack inmates before putting it in the flea market. I prefer a local sale and will consider delivery in the metro area. It has been well maintained and is in "pristine" condition with a caveat that it is a '98 Ural. 750 upgrade was done by Gene. It is a one-wheel drive version.

I will be happy to send pictures and details - PM if you are interested.

I bet it will go quickly, seems to always be a following for the Ural.

If you need some help posting or hosting pics, glad to help.

You might want to give the riders in Soviet Steed a go.
That name ''Gene'' will carry a lot of consideration.
Plus they could offer a fair selling price.

I wish I had some room , but I am knee deep in a couple bike projects right now, otherwise I'd make an offer for it. For anyone checking it out, I saw it running at the last Atlanta ride for Kids, and it is a very expertly done conversion (as all Gene's work is) Don't let the '98 fool you, this is a great ural.

I inherited my father's VW trike last year. Been getting that going. Have a basket case fxb, and an r90 that I have to get on their wheels one day. I'll have the trike with me at the RFK in June.

I have been getting questions about price - not sure what is a reasonable price for a rig like this. Any thoughts? 3k, 3.5k, or 4k? Lower? Higher?

I've seen them go higher than $4K, but not more than $6k. But then again, I don't obviously see them all.

What year is the motor ????

I asked at Soviet Steeds about the price, and got answers from 2.5K to 4K, lots of questions about the bike that seems to alter the price quite a bit,
upgrades such as alternator, starter, etc... also what kind of transmission (newer like the engine or not).

If the accountant approves (and it is harder each day) I would offer something on the 3.5 - 4 range as this seems to be the price for a 1WD 750, the newer.

There was a Deco 98 selling, or offered, for 3.5.

Looks like I'll keep the Sportster / Velorex a little longer till the wife car is paid in full (maybe 6 mo left)

    Good luck with your sale.+

750 upgrade included the transmission. It was a $2100 upgrade.

I have windshields for both bike and car, tonneau cover, extra wheel basket, twinmax, extra filters, and other parts with the rig. Interior of the sidecar was professionally coated with LINE-X.

Pictures say more (apologies for iphone 3G quality photos)...
