Now that you mention it, I too have noticed Autocorrect getting a little odd.

It's a 4. Wish I'd known that. Too late now.

I was just trying to type "barricaded" and it kept changing it to "be creative". Even though I was spelling it correctly.

I talked to one of the guys at the Apple Store and he said that my phone would take about a week to "acclimate" to iOS 7, and in the process would gradually reduce its appetite for power to familiar levels.

So far, he seems to be correct: the phone doesn't seem to be as power-hungry as it was initially.

This seems like BS, but, my phone's apps are not nearly as laggy as they were when I first changed it 7 (I won't call it an upgrade just yet).

One thing that disappoints me is the cheap looking graphics. With the previous OS things had a much richer visual appearance. Suppose I'll get used to it.

The "cheap looking graphics" remind me for some reason of South Park, which I don't consider a plus.

Did he update on iPhone 4 and by shutting off what I don't need, battery use seems the same. Ipad 3 though is sucking it down fast. Not sure what else I can change to make it better.

That is complete BS. The operating system is not self-aware, yet. Both Apple and Google are working on more code structures that allow devices to understand and anticipate what you'll want to do with your phone (which should allow your phone to give you a better user experience); however there are only 1 or 2 Android phones on the market that have any of this implemented - and Apple doesn't have anything yet. So, yeah. I call BS big time.

Now I am having issues with sending iMessages. :huh

It just says "sending" and never fails to send, just keeps trying to send all day. So messages I thought I send yesterday morn were not received till last night when I resent the messages as regular text messages.

I now have a lot of bugs on my iPad2. It went from never missing a beat in over 2 years (not one issue) to having to be restarted multiple times a day.

    This is bullshit.

I'm noticing some weird bugs, such as Calender not responding, requiring me to restart the app. Deleting video causes the app to quit. Also, I deleted a photo last night and the photo app quit.

Safari defaulting to full screen is proving a pain, in that it can be difficult to access the controls at the bottom (I usually end up opening Control Center).

One mostly annoyance is with Mail; it will show that I have mail, so I open it to view the emails, then quit, but the notification doesn't go away unless I open the Mail app again.

I have been mostly liking it now that I've had it 2 weeks, but things like the above are wearing thin on me.

Hopefully Apple will come through soon. Not good to have these issues with Android so far ahead.

Oh, and the battery issue is not improving. I lost 10% in just 30 minutes.

So, it looks like the Calendar app has a little bug. It currently says it is 4:50 pm, yet it is clearly 3:50 pm. WTF?

Maybe it's all tied into the amazing app of apple maps.....it probably thinks that you're in the New Brunswick.

this worked for me for the imessage issue:

    settings>messages> (turn off) imessage
    settings>general>reset>reset network settings

once the phone has rebooted, turn imessage back on.

I reset the phone and it seems to be working again. I hate resetting network settings, it deletes all my wifi passwords, deletes mail settings, including signatures, among other annoying things.

Now that this update has been around a while What is the recommendation for updating a Iphone 4 ? I have seen posts elsewhere saying do not do it on a 4, Any thoughts?

I wouldn't do it. We had quite a few users with a 4 that updated and it really slowed things down.

I have a 4 and I now have version 7.0.3. It seems a bit better than it was on 7.0. If I were you I'd hold off, but if you update your apps at some point they may not end up playing nice with the old OS and you'll have to update.

I found something that seems to help with my laggy app response. Go to Settings>General>Accessibility>Reduce Motion and turn it On. This is supposed to help with battery life as well.
