why should fog stop any riding, it just makes it more fun!
Is that the track just outside Elkader on 13?
I go by there every week. I've never seen anyone on it.
First time I've been to Elkader, I just buzzed around the track once to check it out.
I ride by there every once in a while and I've threatened to do that.
Nearest OHV part to Marshall town? That looks familiar...
Tama Off Road Park video
I was just there a couple of weeks ago.
Hey Joe! I just started watching that MITRA Dual Sport ride, and thought the guy behind the helmet cam sounded familiar. Then, I noticed whose Youtube channel it was. I was wondering if you were a member here. I was going to ask you that on SW, but obviously no need!
I should have been checking this thread earlier.
I'm taking the summer off from classes. We'll have to get together for a ride. I really want to check out Bluff creek.
We weren't at the the Tama park, it was something Ford there in M town.
Never been to the Tama one, yet......
I am sure an inmate here know what I am talking about!
Its either nichols and ford
or nicholson ford.
rode there when I was a kid and it was illegal
Huh, never heard of it.
It seems to be open for ATV and Off road motorcycles. If it's still in the 50's this weekend, I'll have to take a drive up there. It's only about 30 miles from Newton.
Tama is alright. There is a lot of trails. But, it's pretty flat. There was alot of sand and mud - which wasn't much fun on my 80/20 street tires!
If you want to take a drive - hit the one in Waterloo. Lots of fun terrain there.
Winner winner!! Chicken Dinner!!
Save your gas money! Nicholson Ford is more boring than Tama. Waterloo is good!
Bluff Creek is awesome!!!
Were you able to do all the doubles?
I did not try, I took one jump and remembered how crappy the stock forks are on my KLR. I dont know if its normal for the 2008 KLR or not but the front suspension has sucked for jumping since day one.
Small group of us over here.
Rode up to Gina's yesterday
cool pic...that looks like a bent or mashed sumthin sumthin waiting to happen...at least if I was riding it.
