Rode today. It was a balmy 14F out.
Iowa City. '12 R1200RT.
Nice looking ride there, Did you just get it?
Thanks! Yeah, I just picked it up in early November - a leftover '12 that I just couldn't pass up. Actually got a few good rides in before the snow hit.
Mount Vernon checking in.
Riding a 2012 GS/A at the moment.
Just picked this up yesterday.
Looks like fun!
Hate you so bad right now Eems.
Sold my XL. Thank god. Too much work and not enough time.
I did ride to work yesterday. Love the heated grips on the Multi more and more each day.
Wife said I was nuts.
If you bought that cycle from Gina's my drool marks are prolly still on the seat.
Im impressed, I dont see many other bikes out there when Im riding to work.
Does anybody know when the bike night in Coralville starts up again? I haven't gone for a year or two but would like to see what the other bikers around here are up to.
Give that man a cigar! Yep, Kent Park. And, I thought I noticed a bit of extra drool on the seat.
despite what he said, i doubt that was drool.
Hey, what happens in the show room, stays in the show room, except in this case it stays on the seat.
Looks like I'll be washing the bike sooner rather than later.
Kent park was where I taught my wife to ride. Lots of practice going around curves and stopping on hills. Eventually the ranger stopped us and kicked us out because she didn't have her license yet.
Yeah, it's a nice little place to ride at a leisurely pace. Decent roads around there as well, for Iowa.
There's a Facebook group but it's a private group. Try calling Scott at S&S Customs in North Liberty. He usually knows what's going on with it.
Super T not enough?
There are several of us here in Fairfield. Some but not all on this forum. Happy to ride the roads, back roads, and trails of Iowa.
