I know you're name, because I race against you occasionally at the IERA hare scrambles and in my opinion, you're still fast for an old guy. Did you ride over to the Morrison DS ride last year with Spencer?

So, can you tell us yet? I'm hoping it's north of you, cause that'd make it closer to me!

No danger of me beating you there. That's a 4 hour round trip for me. Thanks for sharing with us though! I can't believe that's an actual street!

That was me! She's up and running again. About the only thing I didn't do to it this winter was split the case. :). The wife said, "With all the money you spent, you could have just bought a new one." Just about true. :)

Greetings Iowa inmates! I hope you don't mind if I hijack your thread for a bit.
I'm up here for a wedding, I always forget how great the scenery is up here. Yall have some great riding up here.:D

Unfortunately I did not bring the KLR and the weather is perfect today.:cry

On the way back from visiting the nat. moto museum I found a road closed at Delhi and had to go the long way. It was great! I was glad it happened, the gravel was good, even in the cage. I will have to plan better next time and haul the bike.:clap

I'm so sorry to see that:flush (money down the drain)
Can you give us details? i.e. how much over did he say you were going, how fast were you actually going, what speed did he write on the ticket etc.
Maybe we can all learn an important lesson from this (How fast we can go and get away with it)

That's about right for the speedo. Check it with a GPS. My BMW's were about 5 to 7 mph faster (indicated) than my GPS read.

They do that so you go into your 6k 12k services faster! $$$$!

I have kept track of my odometer in relation to my GPS, they are quite close, within a couple tenths in a 100 miles. My speed is off a solid 6%.

No fancy ride reports here. No muddy B-level roads ridden. And nothing remarkable in the food department to depict. First day home in over a week and temps above 45, finally...so I spent the afternoon puttering in the garage trying to get the 3 bikes with license plates started, running, and then a cruise around town to make sure they function.

The poor off-road bikes will have to wait their turn another day. Until then, they make great storage racks for things in the garage. :rofl

Oh, I finally got around to mounting this Acerbis supermoto fender on my DR.
