Wife and I were there as well. I was just pulling legs with the riding thing.
Very good documentary. Pretty sure I will buy it if they release it on Blu-Ray...some pretty good visuals.

Bought my first BMW, a 2007 R1200 GS Adv this past summer and have her stowed away for the winter right now. Planning a trip down south in April/May but before that, I want to do some maintenance to get her ready. I've done oil/filter change, trans and FD fluids. I'm wanting to tackle a valve check/adjust and a TB sync, bleed brakes and change out air filter. I've ordered the JVB maintenance videos after hearing nothing but good from several inmates on this forum. Sounds like these videos will be very helpful.
My question for the group, is there someone close by (Urbandale, IA) who has done this, specifically the valves and TB sync that would be willing to assist me this first time. Heated garage and beer supplied!
PM me if you have interest :beer

Never done a TB sync but have adjusted 6099280734098872 valves over the years...and bled more brakes than Ghengis Khan did enemies.
    AF is pretty straight forward.

But I have never done those on a Bimmer.

But I am more than willing to come drink your beer for you. :freaky

Been there done that on my 2008. It's easy as pie!!

I also still have my synco for the TB's. Want it? It's for sale. Will be more than happy to help.

    Let me know.

Since the weather not to conducive for riding , I have been putting things together for my trip to Nevada for the "Hooked on Phoenix" dual sport ride I won through Rocky Mountain ATV. its a 5 day Dual Sport ride from Mesquite, NV to Phoenix and back. We will be camping 3 of the night in the desert. Will be watching the Phoenix Supercross from the Rocky Mountain ATV suite. Should be an epic trip. Great way to break up the Iowa winter.

Only eight winners nationwide. If they would let me, I am sure I could find a couple of inmates that would go.

I don't really ride the ice, just off road ride in the snow. Well except for a frozen creek here and there. There must be someone riding ice on the back waters of the Des Moines river? I'd go talk to Doug at Motosports.

I'm really looking forward to this next snowstorm!
