Rode today. Got to say today was the first day this winter it wasn't too much fun. Snow is getting too deep and dense. It was WFO in second and third gear, just trying to keep forward momentum.

Pretty sure Eems scared everyone off the forum with that pic... :rofl

Finally found a set of motocross boots that fit my gigantic calves...ended up with a set of Fox Comp 5s in a size larger than I normally wear. I spent last Tuesday and Wednesday home sick watching Supercross and wearing my new boots to help break them in. :evil

March can't come soon enough. Once bonuses arrive, I can finally pick up the Husky and go play in the dirt.

you really should! with the right (warm) gear, its a great thing! being cold doesnt usually happen, infact most of the time im riding aggressively enough that im actually sweating instead. its almost like a cross between motocross and jet skiing.

i take off again tuesday for a week again. that will make it 3 weeks of snowmobiling in a month and a half... id say my year is off to a good start!

Is anyone planning to go to either the Hillbilly or 500 in Arkansas? The Hillbilly is April 4,5 & 6 and the 500 is the following weekend.

Myself and a buddy want to do the Arkansas 500 but following the thread it looks booked up. They have over 40 participants now and they shut it down at 40.

It also costs $100 for the donation.

Maybe they will post the route and I will just do it another weekend.

Please post the link for the hillbilly, I can't seem to find it via Google fu.

Loking at Scottys notes it looks like they will take more. I am with you on the $100. I also have a friend that wants to go, that is not signed up. WE have also talked about going that weekend and riding on our own. We would probably go to Jasper and ride out of there. Tracks are not an issue. Everything is posted, you just have to string your own routes together. I do have three days of tracks out of Jasper if you are interested. The motel there is like $45 a night or Thelma has the Bunkhouse which can hold 6. I have stayed at both.

Thanks. I might take you on that offer.

My buddy has a Versys with no skid plate yet. We would need to be careful with his bike.

I saw your 640 at Doug's today when I went down to get a replacement fuel filter for my bike. I now have a Ducati fuel filter and with a little work, it'll be back in and hopefully the bike will fire up.

Yep. I'm getting the rear shock rebuilt and trail tech is providing a new spring for my chubby butt!

I could go on a diet but it took a lot of hard work to get this fat!!!

Was it torn apart? Or still sitting there? Could have rode a little bit this afternoon!! :D

It was still torn apart as of yesterday. Sorry about that. Dieting is nit worth it if all you have to do is rebuild the shock. :)
