Anyone come up with a solution to keep the charger going? I seem to have intermitten problems with the plug connection failing to keep a charge going in rough adventure terrain.

Oooh. I always unplug my Mini in rough terrain. I plug it in only on paved roads and smooth gravel. The reason, as I guess you've found out, is avoiding wear-and-tear on the connection port. The only way to fix the port is to replace it. The cost of doing this is more than the value of the Mini3. You can buy a refurbed Mini4 Cellular on eBay for under $300. Might be your best option.

Yeah, I was afraid that would be the answer. I have mine in a zipper case which has foam sheets of varying thicknesses. Maybe I could wedge it in tightly with more sheets and come up with a way to stabilize the charger plug wire. Even thought about just gluing it in. My mini 3 is a refurb.
