    + meals. It is so boring on a boat, you'll need lots of sustenance to soak that up.

    If people like biking holidays on a boat or a train, then that's great for them. Not me.

    A bike holiday for me is a riding holiday, it doesn't really matter where I ride, if a "destination" takes an extra day that's fine.

    I have heard stories about how rough the Santander crossing is. I have done Calais to Andorra in 2 fairly easy days riding. And I agree with the other guys that the "B" roads are the way to go.
