Anyone escaping Irma, if you don't have a place to go and you're willing to come all the way up to the D.C. metro area I have 10 acres of tent space and 5 bedrooms worth of shelter.
Edit: anyone else that can offer shelter feel free to post also. Let's get this seen.

Atlanta Motor Speedway (Hampton, GA) is letting evacuees camp in their spacious various parking lots (pavement, gravel and grass) and use their showers and restrooms. (free of charge)

Rode through there tonight and it was calm and being used by maybe 50-70 campsites from Class A to tents. LEO on site wandering around and on site security roaming as well. Vibe was good. Lots of space to spread out.

Also heard all GA state parks are open free of charge as well.

Got 2 rooms north of Wilmington, N.C. and a garage as well for those making the trek on 2 wheels. Tools and good food for those who need. PM if needed.

Does anyone have a map showing where the power is out? Extra points for a map that updates as information comes in. Thanks.

Thanks. The site no longer lets me sign in on my phone, so I have access only when I take my computer to a library.
