That bridge shouldn't be that hard to remember how to spell correctly. Just think of Salma.

    Colombia :rofl

In or behind bars? Assuming the former, keep me in mind. I might be able to get away again (I need to buy contact lenses ... Wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

You should be fine on paperwork since you've been reading things here. The Mexicans are usually a bit slow to get your permits (because the money and paperwork are handled by different agencies) but generally they are happy to work with you. Any problems, just post 'em here.

    Good luck, and have fun!

Last couple pages sound like a regular invasion of Mexico from the north.

    Mexicans! Hide your sisters! (daughters....wives.....)

    And we have pictoral proof:

Bob C's 1200GSA leaving Minnesota an hour ago on his way to Casa Tricepilot.

His text along with this photo said "negative 3 degrees with snow on the way" :muutt

It's 77 right now here in San Antonio. The Fabulous Bomber Boys Posse departs for the southern Mexican beaches and beyond shortly.....:jkam

I'm now planning a ride down to Cabo San Lucas and back, probably in April. Maybe 2 weeks total. All road, no dirt, as I'm on an RT.
I've been there before, but not lately.
I'm doing as much research as possible. So I hope to have it quite well planned out. I did post in upcoming, but there was only one response. All the Mexico talk seems to be here.
If there is any recent or special advice, I would appreciate it.
Otherwise I don't anticipate any problems.
There was a severed head recently, discovered in Hollywood, by the Hollywood sign. So I'm a little nervous around here. And looking forward to get away from it in Mexico.

I always find this thread entertaining. I have a wife, she rides her own. I don't have kidney stones. Tomorrow, we are leaving Green Valley, AZ, crossing at Nogales and heading south somewhere. We have family meeting us in San Salvador, El Salvador on Feb. 19. We will spend a week on the beach in El Salvador. Other than that, we think we'll spend a day or two in Guaymas eating fresh seafood, as Colorado does not have 'fresh seafood'. She rides a 05 KLR & I ride a 06 KLR. We have our ADV stickers on the bikes. Maybe we will make to the Panama Canal, maybe not. We are gone for 3 months. Except for El Salvador, we don't know where the hell we are going.
I hosted the latin america riders rally in Colorado a few years ago. This year the rally could be in Michigan, Wisc, Idaho, Colorado, Mexico, no one knows yet but if you want to share your stories with other who have been or want to go, just show up.
See you on the road. We usually have nice tequila with us, so if you find us, we can have a nice sipping shot together.

Mostly due to the fact that while it may be true we're not always helpful, we're nothing if not enthusiastic :freaky

I keep loose tabs on that and from what I've seen Max is looking to have it in Wisconsin this year. I could be wrong.

I think this forum needs a good contact lens thread to go with the oil thread with a subcategory for enlargement/enhancement pills, oil additives, octane boosters, things that make you skinny, electrical shocks that make your muscles grow, and other things that are of keen interest to Gold Wing owners and for which BMW owners are waiting for updates from Spandau and KLR owners are waiting to see if they worked for the DR650 owners who heard about them from the Harley guys who always start such trends.
