    Not accurate.
As of last Sunday, October 21st the tolls were still the same.
If things go according to plan, I'll give you an update tomorrow, but still, nobody knows anything at any of the tolls booths about when the reduction is coming. I think it's time I ask a local politico and see what his office can dig up for me.

I also firmly believe that the lengthy delay in the implementation of the discount for motorcyclists is completely due to Bob Loblaw. They are still waiting for him to go back and fix the damage.

Meet Chango in October of 2008 at MexTeck, on my way to Costa Rica. He is a great guy. I thought TrailBoss had stopped planning Mexico rides until things cooled down. Has MexTeck started back up? Galena Mexico was a fantastic place to visit and ride out of. I'm planning a month long ride/visit to Mexico this coming January. Hopefully will get to visit Galena again. The people there were very friendly.

At this time Richard is not planning to start up Mextrek again, although we talk about it from time to time.

Absolutely correct, Galeana and the roads in the region are top notch. Both paved and unpaved. Richard made a name for himself with that ride and he has continued it with his Junction, Big Bend, and now Arkansas offerings.

I also went with him to the New Mexico/Lincoln National Forest recon for a great ride.

Stop by San Antonio on your way south.

Our man John Downs at Casa Tricepilot and various movie locations in the area in his role as a stand-in for Daniel Craig filming the next Bond movie:

Probably the best guy I know for taking 10 different piles of assorted parts and bits and making a motorcycle out of it that runs.

I'll bring the handyman's secret weapon, duct tape. And remember, If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy. (Tricepilot take note)

I'll second that! Good guy with good tales of adventure riding in remote regions of Central America.

Another Advrider who can do it well on the cheap is our friend John Downs. He might even hold his own with the renowned Sjöerd Bakker for getting the most bang for the Adv buck. Hope to see him in action at Roll The Bones this weekend.

Thanks to those who have expressed interest/concern. The doc says that my symptoms may be related to depression and the brain injury I sustained when I fell on December 6th 2009 while walking to the park a few blocks from my house to go cross country skiing. Don't know what to do about the neurophysical effects of the injury but know that the depression can be treated by pointing the handlebars south. Hope to see some of you on the road this winter.

Eakins, the old report was that tolls would be raised for all vehicles and then halved for bikes.
I have a call in to a Federal diputado's offfice to get the word on when. The latest speculation is
it will be in the new year when the new budget begins.

It's 4:30am and the Mystery Rider and I will be circling el Pico at dawn.

Bob, I think that product Trice posted is for Red Andsore and not Red Greene!
I have no idea what kind of wildlife the Mystery Rider will be playing Dr. Doolittle with today.

So 180 days from May 18th (139th day of the year) makes it effective on Nov 14 (319th day.) Thanks for the info Road Dust. Now I can press the argument that 2 bikes cost less in gas and tolls than the Suburban.
