Is this Tread updating? It has been almost 24 hours with no meaningless BS being thrown! :rofl

Well, I guess it is, this one posted. Is anyone at work or is everyone out riding?

Divine intervention can often times save a GS1200 Adventure's final drive.

Today was "Dia de los Albañiles." Day of the masons. The guys working on the latest Los Arcos project are the best. We knocked off early for cervesas and botanas.

    Hard working crew.

Tres de Mayo, dia de la cruz.
Last north wind is moving through the coast, she'll be blowing through the Isthmus and out into the Golfo de Tehuantepec tonight.
Gonna get hot and humid from now through November and then it repeats again.:freaky

Northern Sonora is still dry with cool mornings but heat building in the afternoon. Humidity will start building in the next few weeks through Dia de San Juan on 24 June. This is the traditional start date for the monsoons. The weather will break here around Dia de Independencia, 16 September with great days through October and November and then something like winter happens.

I don't meddle in any activity that will get me deported. I have too much of my stuff here and it would be a royal pain.

    Small world.

We have lots of guys from Durango working at the mine. Lots of Canadians, too. They are in the middle of a big expansion with a new mill and underground works so a big bubble in employment. The mine is a net plus for he town and the company has tried to meet their stated goal of 85% local employment. I'm hoping to keep my crew together and not lose anyone to the mine. We are building a large straw bale building that will be our home and an adjunct to the hotel. Any one interested in stacking bales or plastering, let me know. We are some weeks away.

On another note, some of the BMW riders from Hermosillo would like to put together an international ride in Sonora and other northern locales. They claim they will show us amazing roads. I'm volunteering Banamichi as the home base. (enlightened self interest)

Just looking for comments and opinions right now, when it looks real, I'll put up a separate thread.

    Muchas Gracias
