A trick of the trade. Get two paddles, then you can build the second pizza while the first one is cooking. Technically it's called a peel.

    What's cooking this weekend.
The SO and I are planning on riding down, from Tucson, to your hotel for Friday and Saturday nights.

Do you have any suggestions for an interesting route.
    We'll be riding a KTM 990.

Ixtapa and Huatulco are examples of what happens when the Gummint promotes real estate development on Mexican beaches. Zipolite and La Manzanilla are examples of what happens when the ejido system works. What was that alleged Native American saying: "The earth does not belong to us, we belong to the earth" or something along those lines. The whole Tenacatita mess is an example of how weird it can get down there. Buying coastal property in a time of climate change is a bit sketchy anyway. Arroyo de Guajalote could end up with a beach front hotel!

My prima and friends came close to buying some beachfront lots in Tenacatita just before the Guadalajara strong man came in and took it over.
It's now just a nice place to go swimming for a day. No alcohol allowed past the gate, however.

Tenacatita provided me with my first scrape with coral. Took a full three months to completely heal.

I'm the pizza guy, so I will follow your advice and call it a peel.

Tricewife, on the other hand, has found success using it as a paddle.

Pizza. Now your talking my language!!!
When not making it at home I check out the best i can find wherever I am. If you happen to find yourself in Phoenix after riding north from Mexico, this is the place. Only problem is trying to get in. Very small and very busy

I didn't have a peel in time for the first couple of pizzas so I made one from some sheet steel. Weighs a ton. Not a paddle could try it as a paddle but it might be lethal.

Watching The Wild Bunch filmed in Mexico by Sam Peckinpah and released in 1969. One of the truly great westerns from that genre's golden era. First time viewing the film since I explored the town and hacienda ruins where it was filmed. There's something delightful about watching soldiers patrolling along the top of an aquaduct where I walked and shot pix earlier this year. Sounds a bit silly, maybe. But fun.

    Nice bike!
You need to team up with Bob Loblaw and come on down.
    Bob speaks BC fluently.
Great vocabulary when you wake him up an hour before the agreed to time because two Guatemalans and one other Canadian finished breakfast early.:eek1

Glad to hear the MN posse is having fun. I guess there have been a couple of bumps and bruises but all in good spirits. Happy the hack got to share Mexico with Marlene N looking forward to the rise report.

I envy you pizza guys. I spent my college years cooking 500+ pounds of wings a night in Buffalo and have no desire to ever see another wing.
