    Hello all!

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I am going to have a look at a bike tomorrow (in Sweden) It's a 99 Yamaha wr400f with 2800miles, one owner, owned by a guy in his mid 50's

I like the fact that it has one owner and the guy is an engineer ( I keep telling myself that it's a good thing) and he says he has been driving it on roads.

This would be my first off road bike (but not street bike). I am 5'9 150lb so it might be pretty tall for me. He's asking around 2300 dollars for it. Little bit more expensive than some other ones on the market, but it sounds well taken care of.

I want to get out and drive on dirt, not any technical enduro, just want to get away from trafic and have a good time without spending a fortune.

    Advise? Thank you!

Hi, I ride a 1999 wr 400. Great bike. Wish, it was street-legal and had a E-start button.
But, Santa left it under the X-mas tree.
Mine is my woods bike. I just ride trails and sand pits. Its just right for that.
The price sames a little high. But, here in the usa i seen them for as a little as $400.00!!! The motor must be on the way out!!:eek1
Good luck! Big ED WR400F Fan!!:lol3:eek1

2300 is way too high for a 14 year old dirt bike.

You can get a much better, newer bike for that $$.

If that's Euros, than it's even more overpriced. :huh

But yes I have no idea about the used bike market in Sweden, but hell it can't be that bad. :lol3

Yes, it seems quite high, I am trying to get a better deal, but what I do like is, that it has been driven by an old man, it never even been down. The side of the frame is just barely worn from the boots. One owner. is that a good thing or what?
