I'm converting it into a battery for the GS.
Better late than never. Just finished reading this...
Beautiful bike and a great way to honor the memory of your friend.
I should probably take some more pictures. Got the right seat, the hoop is on the back and the mirrors match again. I'm having a ball riding it.
Dave, I've had your rack since Nov last year and up to now, I can't bring myself to remove the hoop. Yours is still taking up space on the shelf :huh
Might be time to move it along, huh?
That's a sweet looking bike, man.
Nah, one of these days I'll install it and take photos to post -- wearing my flamesuit, of course
I took some photos today. I looked at the previous photos and this set has the right mirrors, the right seat and the rear rack has been replaced by just the rail.
Nice shots, Dave.
I took my old R90 out today for a 200-miler to get some parts at Ozzie's. It sure loves this cold air, and purred like a big cat the whole way. Of course, I didn't take any pics, as there's no point in doing so when your bike shows up.
I think the FNG, which is the only way I knew McQuide, would be happy with what you've done.
Thank you. That's what we called him and Jim. I tried to get FNG for a plate, but the state of Cal wasn't into it.
One of these years I'm going to try FYYFF here in Michigan.
Just because this thing is so beautiful an sweet looking !!
I had to bring it up for another round of viewing . Very nice handiwork here .
Aw, thank you. It's a treat to ride.
Thanks for bringing it back up! I wasn't around for the first go round.
