Thanks again for another great RR.
Better get that beast shined up for next weekend Matt, Darryl needs some competition over here...
No, it can't be over. We got two in a row and now your just going to stop cold turkey. You've got to do some occasional day trips or something to let us down easy. You don't want your viewers to go into withdrawals.
Another great reports Kelly. Looks like everybody had a blast. Lots of great riding in Nevada, but I guess we need to bring a lot of extra fuel with us. That place has some serious wide open spaces.
Extra-ordinary stuff, Wans. The videos were very good-seeing 500+ lb bikes in the air and the whoops is well, pretty steenking cool. Thanks for taking the time to put this all together.
After washing my bike I noticed a few problems. Here is what I found today.
Crash bar had a scratch from a small rock.
Crash bar hit oil tank.
Looks like a sand blaster was used on center stand.
Got my fist flat spot on front rim. I guess my bike is broken in .Good thing it was only 500 miles LOL.
Wouldn't it be great to see the Wans ride the Desert 100 Adventure class?
Maybe next year we can talk them into it.
I thought this thing would be dead...
Thanks for the continued nice comments!
Glad you're still watching the videos!
Does this mean you miss us or is work just extra slow?
Matt is bummed to miss it!
But, we're on the road right now. Will be in Oklahoma! oklahoma! oklahoma! tomorrow.
(I would do that steve martin link, but youtube is blocked at this motel )
I think Radek was talking about doing the Desert 100...
Matt just said that if he does it, he wants to win!
Welcome to the club, haha! It gets easier, don't worry.
At least you didn't find any damage...
Rick flattened his rim for the first time, too!
Sorry, guys. Ride with us and you might as well kiss your resale value goodbye!
That's the price of admission to these shows
As a noob, I really appreciate the great ride report.
Thanks again. Looking forward to the next installment......
Finally read this edition of "The Wan Report" . Thanks for more great RR Kelly ! You can always crack me up . Other than the deep sand , this ride looks a little more to my liking . That night video that you sped up was super good . Also the music (tuba) and Tijuana Sound Machine had me snickering . As a loyal fan , I will be waiting for the next installment . Thank you again !
Thanks for this RR. I raced V2R last year as an ironman, and these incredible pics and vids are a great look back at the course. Strangely I could not remember much of the course after the race (maybe I blocked it out!), so the pics really bring it all back.
I'm so happy you enjoyed the report!
Wow, ironman - no wonder you didn't remember much of the course!
V2R is such a fast course, and Scott said it had been seriously dry and silty in August...
bet it was all just a huge DUSTY blur for you...
glad to bring back some memories -
Congrats on ironmanning it!
hi roespan, howdy Gramp-Z -
you're very welcome! glad you guys liked it, too.
Nice ride! I always enjoy your write-ups Little Wan. Thanks!
Great story. Very envious. Love seeing KTM Adventures out in the desert.
Great RR ! When's the next ride? I wanna go
+ 1 How did I miss this?
+1 might want to get a guard for that.
thanks kelly for the RR. finally caught up and enjoyed reading it all. maybe not as much if riding behind those behemoth dirt bikes and eating dust.
i bought a small bike and would love to follow your routes, including the ones in baja, especially the easy ones...
yeah, we're heading south this coming weekend for 9 days.
you two must really be close friends cause if he would gone down you wouldve had him for dinner.
sorry to hear about your grandma sweater. Maybe Klim can hook you up with something like the windbreaker they sell
Thanks for another great RR. I got to the party late this time but it was still a great read..
