Lol, I don't know. I didn't pay any attention! They did have 12 ga. turkey loads. Too bad we didn't get a chance to shoot anything with it.

That's terrible! I'm sorry you have such a phobia!

If you're still looking for someone, I use Lynn's Accounting in Jackson at 1880 Lakeland in the Petit Bois set of office buildings. 601-914-0750. Don't know what price point your looking for but they charged us $250 to do our jointly filed taxes but the got us a good chunk back.

My 94 dr650 shit the bed today- it's been running well for a few weeks. Today it died at a stop sign, then when I tried to crank it, white smoke spewed from the exhaust. It also sounded like it had no compression. What the hell

White smoke usually means moister (water) in the form of steam. DR650 air cooled, so may have been build up of moister in exhaust. Just a guess. Don't have anyone around (small ones) that may have did you a favor and topped you up with water in the exhaust?? Not to bad just run till it's all out.

Worst things Water in oil or rings!!

It won't start at all- doesn't even try to fire.. It turns, so I know it isn't locked up- but I'm pretty stumped

I know this sounds like a silly question, and I don't in any way mean to imply anything by it... Does it have gas?

Yes, first thing I did was check the fuel. And that wouldn't explain the white smoke from the exhaust-

ok there is a point where to much gas goes from black smoke to white. I've seen it only a few times. check your spark plug. get a new one. and also are you 100% sure it was white and not blueish.

the little CL100 i have actually got to where it had raw gas dripping from the pipe before I figured out it was the spark plug

Had to ask:D. I had a fight with my lawnmower over the weekend because it had the audacity to run out of gas. I won, but it took a few minutes...

Haha, I hear ya- I'm still kinda ticked off at my bike, so I'm not going to do any investigating tonight-

I'll pull my plugs and have a look, then check the valves for a stuck exhaust valve-

stuck valve wont cause the smoke.... and you can't look at a plug to see if it's good, get a new plug and work away from there.

But you can look at a plug and get some idea what's going on.

This is why you don't leave your wife in charge of the pool while you're in Alaska for a month. Free beer and steak for anyone who want to volunteer to help drain an clean it! Rum/whiskey can also be negotiated into the deal.[IMG]

Well, right now it's more of a cesspool, but yes.

It looks I need to nail a few boards back down too.
